THE ENCHANTING QUIET OF T HIS RIVER, winding through a varied landscape, provides an aesthetic excitement that even white water veterans want to take time to enjoy. Canoeing is enjoyable at any time of the year, but the season from May to October is the most popular. During late summer and fall, the water level is normally low above Greer Spring. This is a beautiful section of the river with wonderful solitude.

Our camping area has a shower house, restrooms, and a wooded area with picnic tables. Showers and firewood are included with all stays.
We are the only canoe rental within walking distance of the Eleven Point River, located near the Riverton Access.

Scheduled Time for Busses

“Canebluff & greer bus will depart @ 8:15 & noon.
Turner bus will leave @ 8:30 & 10
Whitten bus will leave @ 8:30, 10 & 12
Riverton to 142 you can arrive at anytime after 8 & before 12.

If you miss your scheduled time you will need to wait until the next bus. If you miss the last bus out @ noon your float will change Riverton to 142. You will need to be at your takeout spots by 6pm.

🌊 Special Float INTRODUCTION TO FALL FLOATING / OVERNIGHT TRIP GREER TO WHITTEN – DAY ONE / WHITTEN TO RIVERTON – DAY TWO 📅 FLOAT DATES: OCTOBER 23RD – 25TH, 2026 This float will be the FIRST OF OUR PLANNED ASSISTED FLOATS. 🏕 What’s Included You can camp on our property the night of the 23rd or show up at the store by 8AM on the 24th to depart by 9AM. 🌅 Day One 🍳 Breakfast will be served at the store at 7AM (eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes). You do not need to attend breakfast if you prefer. 🥪 Guests will make their own sandwiches at this time (lunch meat or peanut butter & jelly) to take on the float for lunch. 🚐 Departure at 9AM to Greer Crossing (put-in point). The float continues to Whitten Access where we will camp overnight. 🕓 Arrival planned around 4–5PM. Dinner will be provided at 6PM (menu announced at camp). 🎒 All camping gear will be delivered to Whitten by staff, except what you choose to carry during the day. Staff will prepare dinner while you set up your own camp. 🔥 Firewood will be provided for a group fire. Relax, gather, and enjoy the evening at your own pace. 🌄 Day Two 🍳 Breakfast at 8AM (eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes). Sandwiches will again be made by guests for lunch. 🚐 Departure around 10AM after breakfast and camp breakdown. Travel to Riverton. 🕛 Arrival at Riverton around 2-4 PM (depending on your speed). Begin your float. Lunch will be eaten on the river. 🍽 Dinner at 6PM (menu announced at camp). 🔥 Firewood provided for individual or group fires. 🏕 Guests may leave after dinner or stay another night at our property. 💰 Cost & Details $250 PER PERSON (fee based on number of people, not boat). Kids under 12 free with paid adult. Kids 12 -17 150.00 Limit of 20 BOATS for this first float. Camping vessels, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for both days included. Water, plates, utensils, salt, pepper included. Ice can be ordered and delivered by staff at night and the next morning.
